Our team provides support through individual and group sessions with staff, trained volunteers, and other carers.

Who we are

At Connected Caring, we understand the challenges faced by people caring for others, and the importance of tailored support to meet their individual needs. Our team is committed to delivering a personalised service that empowers carers, promotes choice, and enhances their quality of life.

Our expert team is a partnership between three well-known local organisations: Age Concern Tyneside South (ACTS), Vision & Hearing Support, and Your Voice Counts through funding from South Tyneside Council. We work together to provide essential support and assistance to unpaid adult carers in the South Tyneside community.

Working together with…

Connected Caring works closely with health and social care services, voluntary sector organisations, and community services to ensure that carers receive comprehensive support and access to resources. We work in partnership with South Tyneside Young Carers who support unpaid carers under 18 – please visit their website for more information on support for young carers.

Together, we make a difference in the lives of those who selflessly care for others.

Get involved

Volunteers at Connected Caring provide invaluable support for both our organisation and the people we help.
